Klez for Kids
Tuesday, December 25, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (EST)
New York, NY
Looking for something fun to do on Christmas Day? Come explore the Eldridge Street Synagogue and our local Chinatown neighborhood. We offer tours at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm. At 1pm, sing, dance and learn Yiddish at our annual family concert. Clarinetist Greg Wall and his band Klezmerfest lead the audience on a musical tour of Eastern European Jewish culture ending with a festive audience-enacted shtetl wedding. Ticket price includes both concert and tour.
All ticket sales are final, no refunds are available. If you cannot attend an event, we will exchange your tickets for another event (subject to availability). If you are unable to attend any future events we will accept your tickets as a donation, which will be acknowledged with a donation receipt.

Museum at Eldridge Street
The mission of the Museum at Eldridge Street is to strengthen, support, protect and promote the 1887 landmark Eldridge Street Synagogue as a dynamic cultural and educational center that tells the story of Jewish immigrant life at the turn of the last century, explores architecture and historic preservation, inspires reflection and cultural continuity, and fosters inter-group exchange.
